2010 Ford Taurus SHO has new engine technology called Ecoboost.

The EcoBoost engine is a new technology that will improve fuel economy and increase performance output. The EcoBoost engine combines advanced direct injection technology and turbocharging with a gasoline engine. With all of this techlology the engine can now deliver up to 20 percent better fuel economy, 15 percent lower CO2 emissions, and improved performance when compared to larger engines.
